3 Ways IT Trade Associations Help You Build Your Professional NetworkUsing IT trade associations to network with others in the industry can be a great way for technology providers to make new connections. Maybe you’ve thought about networking but haven’t been sure where to start. IT trade associations are a great first step.

Here are three simple ways you can network:

  1. Forums: Most associations have online forums, where members can post questions, ideas, and thoughts. This is a good way to connect with others in your industry around the world who you might not otherwise have a chance to meet.

  2. Events: Most IT trade associations host events in the form of seminars or conferences. This allows you to get up-to-date industry information along with the opportunity to meet colleagues and grow your professional network.
