CompTIA Breakaway Combines Traditional Technology with Hot Topics
Calling all IT solution providers! CompTIA Breakaway is back! From July 30th to August 2nd, Las Vegas hosts what the CompTIA organizers call "the premier education and training event for the IT channel."
ComptTIA is a non-profit trade association. Its goal is to promote the global interests of IT solution providers.
Breakaway is CompTIA’s key conference. This year, experts will discuss a mix of traditional and hot topics.
The 2012 CompTIA Breakaway agenda themes are disaster recovery, cloud computing, cyber security, healthcare IT, social media, and mobility.
The agenda also has IT-related business topics. Among these are marketing, operations management, and strategy planning.
CompTIA Breakaway isn't just about learning, though. It's a chance to create new business relationships through networking.
Social events include the CompTIA Think and Drink Lounge, and a Welcome Reception.
Other Conference Features
MyBreakaway – This is an online community to help delegates plan their Breakaway schedules. The community opens in June.
Technology Vendor Fair – The Fair is the chance for IT solution providers to form new partnership arrangements with IT manufacturers and distributors.
Wild card session – This gives delegates the chance to propose ideas for a conference topic. CompTIA will announce the winner of the best idea in early July.
Podcasts and blogs – After the conference, CompTIA will release podcasts and blogs of many of the events. Delegates can catch up with topics they missed, or get reminders of what went on.
CompTIA Breakaway covers a lot of ground. It offers training opportunities, and the chance to meet people and grow your business.
