A demonstration laptop can work wonders in helping clients understand ideas and concepts that may be complicated to explain.

You can use demonstration equipment for any of the following purposes:

  1. Showing customers a particular software product.

  2. Demonstrating the speed of a system. For example, illustrating the difference in speed between opening a file on a local hard drive and opening a file stored within a cloud service.

  3. Showing off your internal systems to demonstrate to customers how your technology business works on a day-to-day basis, and how it can assist them.

  4. Building proposals on the fly.

  5. Producing quick work examples, such as mock-up website designs.

Your demonstration laptop should be a constant companion when you visit customers, both current and prospective. A picture paints a thousand words, as the saying goes, and it’s therefore always useful having the option of showing customers what you are talking about.
